Genocide Awareness Project to Visit Tennessee Next Week

The GAP, part of Centers for Bioethical Reform, is a "Pro-Life" Group who travel around the country and compare abortion with the holocaust and other genocides with graphic images (http://www.abortionno.org/gap.html) of fake aborted fetuses or miscarried fetuses because it's very difficult to get pictures of aborted fetuses as they are considered a bio-hazard. They target college campuses. They also leave behind newsletters that tell women that it is their own fault when they get raped because men have a totally different biology than women and cannot control their urges. Ladies don't wear those skanky skirts, and put a bag over your head. (I don't know who that is more insulting towards.). But, they come on campus to try to convince students to switch positions when in fact they piss them off more than anything. While I support the First Amendment to the Constitution, as you can tell I do not support their argument. Anyway, my point, they will be at my alma mater at Middle Tennessee State University September 10th and 11th on the Knoll and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville 13th and 14th (9-4, both times local). If you are in the area and would like to distribute lit or hold signs with Vox:Voices for Planned Parenthood, please do so.

They are also putting together an anti-choice student training camp at UTK:
"At the 2nd Annual Pro-Life Student Leadership Conference, you will learn how to run an effective pro-life organization! The leadership from the Pro-Life college clubs from pro-life student groups just like yours will convene to talk about what projects they find effective and to learn what to do (and not to do) as a Pro-Life group. This conference is open to any pro-lifer in the continental USA (students from Alaska and Hawaii...we might be able to make a special exception for ::smiles::) [University Center, Shiloh Room]
Topics will include

Transforming Your Campus
Three Fatal Flaws (of a Pro-Life group)
Great Projects for Campus Pro-Life Groups
Example Calendar
Statewide Student Organizations
Relating to the Woman in Crisis
Growing your Pro-Life Groups: Recruiting Members
Growing new leaders for the future
Raising Money for Projects and Activities
Overcoming Obstacles

Also, there will be two optional events held for attendees before the conference.

September 13-14, University of Tennessee will be hosting the Genocide Awareness Project (GAP, for more info visit abortionno.org). All conference attendees are welcome to arrive early and participate!

September 14 (evening), there will be a "Hillbilly Cookout"! Essentially, this is a Pro-Life social for attendees where you can relax, fellowship, and socialize with other Pro-Life leaders before the conference.

Organizations are allowed to bring as many people as they like! I am here if anybody has any questions. I look forward to seeing you there.

(P.S. - I have found out that housing will be provided for out-of-towners who need it and who register by August 31st!)

EVERYBODY!!! IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT YOU REGISTER WITH JANE BULLINGTON FOR THE CONFERENCE. ALSO, IF YOU WILL NEED HOUSING, ASK JANE WHEN YOU REGISTER. HER E-MAIL IS
